We provide two service levels, each offering a high-quality, case-focused chronological timeline of medical events, with a concise summary as standard from the medical records.\
Premium
Our flagship service, designed for accuracy and speed, allowing for efficient case review.
Basic
The same clarity and accuracy as Premium, but more cost-effective and without any enhanced features.
The Premium Service delivers any combination of enhanced formatting options, including:

Indexing and/or pagination of all medical record pages received.

Chronology events hyperlinked to record entries.

Integration of the chronology with the underlying records into a single PDF file (bundling).
Inclusion of any one or more of the listed Premium features qualifies the instruction under the Premium Service.
In some cases, where records are extensive or unstructured, the Basic service may be unsuitable. If the records are in such a condition that hinders the
proper review of the matter at hand, A1 Chronologies reserves the right to refuse a request for the Basic Service and recommend the Premium Service.
Our chronologies are intended to be factual representations of records and do not constitute a medical or legal opinion.
The Basic Service provides a clear, standalone chronology, and is ideal when:

A chronology and summary is required without additional formatting.

The records are already paginated/indexed.

The records re not extensive, complex, and/or unstructured.
The Process

Instruction & Terms
The client sends an enquiry and receives the Terms of Engagement for review and agreement.

Agreement & Order
The client accepts the Terms, completes the Order Form, and provides the medical records.

Review & Confirmation
We review the records and issue a Confirmation with total fee and estimated completion date.

Chronology Preparation
The records are analysed and a clear, structured chronology is prepared.

Quality Check &
Delivery
The chronology undergoes a final review before being securely delivered with the invoice.
This is an example of our standard process and is given as a guide only.
The actual process may differ depending on practicalities and the needs of both the client and A1 Chronologies.
Pricing
Our pricing is based on the number of record pages that are provided to us.
This per-page-pricing is transparent and eliminates the uncertainty of hourly billing.
Preferential rates are offered strictly at the discretion of A1 Chronologies.
Express Service and Bulk Pricing are subject to availability. Excipian Ltd, trading as A1 Chronologies, is not VAT registered.
Fees are calculated per page, with small-font or handwritten records charged at a higher rate due to the additional processing time required.
Prices are accurate as of Oct 2025 and are reviewed regularly, intended as a guideline only. The fee will be confirmed in the Terms of Engagement.
Basic
Structured chronology only
£1.00 per page of standard typed records (font size 10pt or larger)
£1.50 per page of:
Small font records (less than 10pt);
Handwritten records
Premium
Adds any required formatting
Basic pricing plus:
£0.10 per record page
(£15.00 minimum)
